I'm trying to read a graphic that has a transparent background. I can bring it up in a viewer (Irfanview), but ZS4 doesn't like it. In fact, it doesn't seem to like any of my png or gif files, with or without transparency. It reads jpg files fine, but I don't think that jpg supports transparency.

Is this a problem on my (Windows XP) system only, or is it more general?

I can work around the problem with a fixed color background that I can key away once I'm in ZS4. Eventually, though, it would be nice to get it working.

Attached is an early version of the image that I'm working on for your amusement. I'm putting together some content for a WWW site for a "Science Camp". I've done the jpg/key trick on the two pictures, and I'll do the "GROSS" graphic next. I might put the girl's arm through the "G" for a better effect.
